Dear sister

Dear sister, remember
During burning sun in July or the biting frost of December
In moments when fog blinds your sight and you cannot untie the knot in your chest
you’re a woman, so precious, a member
Of a sisterhood, wild flock where you always can rest

Dear queen, find your crown in the dust,
blow a kiss to get rid of the ashes
Invite laughter, awake dormant rage, let your hips move with lust
Give a voice to the dreams you’ve been hiding behind lowered lashes

Let the voice in your mind caress you with grace
Regardless the shame, guilt and worry
When you look in the mirror, greet with honor the face
The warrior of life, main persona of your precious story

So, you made a mistake, froze with fear, lost your way
Soften, trust, it’s a part of the road yet not taken
Ancient women will hold you when it blossoms in May
And when cold autumn winds leave you all shaken

Whatever you feel, in the end
the worst that can happen is a feeling, sensation
You just need to learn how to befriend
And receive the wisdom of every emotional vibration

Live your dreams, take up space
Be obnoxious, exotic, too loud
Mute the critics who doubt, trust that your ways
Will be gratefully welcomed by those in your crowd

You’re a woman
Remember, and wear it with pride
Delicate, caring and mighty
Trust the voice in your heart, let it guide
To your inner Athena, Artemis and Afrodite

You are needed
Your dignity, flavor, your own unique zest
Make this homogeneous hot pot more tasty
You’re a gift in your self, know this world will feel blessed
More alive, calm and present,
less rigid, cold and hasty
